Where will the group be staying to explore Marana?

The group will be dispersed camping in the Ironwood Forest National Monument. This is free camping. Here are some of the Dispersed Camping Guidelines for the BLM land as a refresher for ya.

*** NOTE: First follow the directions to the first GPS coordinates. Then, when you get to that destination, follow the GPS coordinates to our camp site.
This is so,
a) so ya don't go down the really, bump, yucky road of Silverbell Road that Google may want to take you on and
b) so you don't go on Silverbell Road which has a one lane wooden bridge over a max of 6,000 pounds.

Turn-by-turn Directions

1. From Eloy, AZ head southeast on I-10.
2. Turn right on at exit 232 onto Pinal Airpark Rd. (1.8 miles)
3. Turn left onto N Trico Rd. (5.3 miles)
4. Turn right onto W El Tiro Rd. (3.9 miles)
5. Turn right onto N Pump Station Rd.
6. Turn left after about 0.9 miles driving north on N Pump Station right.
7. Look for the pinwheel!

*** NOTE: I recomend NOT taking Silverbell Road. It is paved, but has lots of patches so it makes it very bumpy and not an enjoyable ride. El Tiro Road is a better road in to Pump Station Road. ***
