Where will the group be staying to explore Strawberry?

The group will be dispersed camping in the Coconino National Forest. This is free camping. Here are some of the Dispersed Camping Guidleines for the Coconino National Forest as a refresher for ya.

Turn-by-turn Directions

1. If you are located between Sedona and Cotton, head south on 89A.
2. Turn left onto AZ-260 W
3. Continue on 260 W until it T's at AZ-87.
4. Turn right onto 87.
5. Turn onto Forest Road 608 in about 1.4 miles.
6. Open the gate and close it after you.
7. You'll see us soon after you enter.

The city of Strawberry is located in Gila County about 30 minutes north of Payson,

What will the weather be like in during our stay?

Mostly sunny! Highs in the low 80s. Lows in the mid-50s. Source: Strawberry - AccuWeather

What is the elevation of our camp site?

The elevation at our camp site is at about 7,50 feet.

What is the flora like at the Strawberry camp site?

You may see some Ponderosa pine, oak trees, and alligator junipers, and jojobas!

What are some things the group may do/explore in/near Strawberry?

Many on the group like to go on morning walks/hikes, have nightly camp fires (if allowed)/group chats, potlucks, movie nights,  group outings, etc.

What has the group explored so far in Strawberry?

The rim near our camp site! So beautiful! We explored Strawberry, Pine, and Payson!

Where can I find showers, propane, gasoline, RV dump stations, trash disposal, water, etc. near our Strawberry camp site?

I haven't explored it yet.
